Red Anchor Trading Corporation acquires Proteus Technology
HotNow, a division of Red Anchor Trading Corp. recently acquired Proteus Technology as a new subsidiary to build a unified digital marketing platform accessible for all retail businesses while optimizing the value of money for consumers.

Proteus Technology was initially founded by Benjamin Scherrey in 1995 in Atlanta, GA USA, as a technology consultancy. Delivering only innovative and technically challenging projects, the majority of Proteus’ efforts centered around helping the client build its own development team and its in-house capabilities.

Concluding that the lack of advanced Asian software groups was primarily due to the lack of technical career paths, Mr. Scherrey moved to Thailand and built the first Asian development group comprising of: more than 30 team members, 100% focused on Agile processes for startups, and innovation projects.
Mr. Scherrey has over 34 years of experience in software development and systems architecture, and has consulted to major firms around the globe including IBM, Internet Security Systems, Thompson Reuters, Scientific Games, and Ericsson, amongst others. Known for building agile teams, Ben is obsessed with security, technology’s impact on freedom and privacy.
