Dear Members of the HotNow community,
I hope this update finds you safely sheltering in place amidst this Covid19 pandemic.
As many of you know, we launched the HotPlay Campaign in July, 2019. The HotPlay Campaign was designed to thank the HotNow community for your support by making available up to 10% of our HotPlay business (in-game advertising platform) once we spin it out into a separate business – please see the Campaign announcement and full details here.
As a reminder, in order to receive the HotPlay shares:
During the registration period, we were excited that 83 HOT Holders registered valid email addresses to participate. Subsequently though, only 1 of these registrants provided the necessary documents to prove his eligibility to receive private company shares, but he did not verify that he controlled the wallet address that he identified. So, there were no eligible participants in the HotPlay Campaign.
Nonetheless, I want to emphasize that the HotNow community will still benefit from a successful HotPlay business since all the advertising and promotions distributed in games via HotPlay will require HOT to bid for the in-game advertising space. Since July 2019, our tech team has worked long hours to create the most sophisticated in-game advertising platform and successfully integrated several video games into the platform. By early 2020, during the beta phase, HotPlay has delivered ads and promotions in games such as Evergleam Hills, Invictus, Fighter Royale and Jump Jump... and continues to deliver them on a daily basis. These 4 titles represent different genres and depth and we chose them to test the extensibility of the HotPlay platform.
And today, I am thrilled to share with you that HotPlay is now ready to stand on its own. I will share more information about this big milestone in the coming weeks as we coordinate the major PR events, but in the meantime, I’d like you to share in the excitement as HotNow continues to grow in the market.
Sincerely,
Nithinan Boonyawattanapisut
